At the half way stage and the competitors apparently woke to "heavy" snow this morning.
Winds were very light on Saturday although two gentle races were completed by all four flights in the 5.3 and by the 4.2 fleet. This is a fantastic achievement by the race committe with over 180 in the main fleet and 20 in the 4.2's. It is amazing how after an amazing jumble of results in race one the addition of race two has returned placings which do largely go with the form book. Talk yesterday evening was of four races on Sunday to complete the full programme.
This morning sees the dinghy park full of concerned drivers grumbling about how much longer it will take to slither home. Looks like there might only be two races today after all. What wimps we cry! Still for most of these guys a thirty minute delay doubles the length of the journey home so perhaps we hardened northerners should be sympthetic to the trauma that a little of the white stuff causes down here.
Results as they go afloat are reported to be Chucky 46, Jessica 55, Joanna 61, Rosalind 85, Jordan 86, Dean 101, Aaron 117, Jack 177 and Joanne 5 (4.2).

Good luck today guys
