Supporting Events at Loch Tummel

Our friends the Scottish Optimists are planning a bumper end to the season at Loch Tummel and hoping for their best turnout of the year.

With so many young sailors coming through there will be a strong need for lots of small winter clothing and so there will be a sailing clothing exchange in operation. Naturally Topper sailors tend to be a little larger than new Optimist racers so this seems an ideal opportunity to create some space in your wardrobes (or garage floors!) before the winter and turn out grown, unwanted sailing kit into cash.

Please take the chance to check out what still fits and if it is outgrown but still servicable bring it along for the clothing exchange. Lets keep our cash for new sails instead of lining the pockets of the mail order chandleries this winter!

Also - whilst on the subject of clothing. You may have spotted the new line in Scottish Junior Racing clothing bringing sartorial elegance to the Optimist parents at Prestwick. We are hoping that all the Junior classes will wish to adopt this new fashion statement clothing for next year. Mock ups will be available at Tummel and orders can be taken. Lets see if we can be the best dressed Nation (OK best dressed zone) at the Eric Twiname next year...
